Majorca Resorts

Mallorca / Majorca has many different resorts to choose from all of which will be able to satisfy your holiday needs. Within all the main tourist resorts you will find many different bars, nightclubs and restaurants and most of the resorts will have beaches and water sports available.

Palma - is the capital of Majorca and is located in the south coast, although a capital it is also a large holiday resort and has a very active commercial port. Palma has some of the best hotels, restaurants and largest choice of entertainment in Majorca.

Even though Palma has become a modern city, it has managed to retain its old town, many Spanish resorts are build up from what was once an old fishing village and over time the old town become lost amongst the new tourist resort. Palma is also home to the main airport in Majorca and deals with millions of visitors each year.

Portals Nous - is one of the most modern resorts in Majorca. This resort is said to have the best marina in the whole of Majorca and plays host to many different famous people through out the year.

Magaluf is probably one of the largest tourist resorts in Majorca. Magaluf offers a lot of different entertainment such as water sports, golf, casinos, water parks and more than enough bar and restaurants. Although a "party capital" you will still find many golden beaches for you to relax and enjoy the sun.

Manacor is located slightly inland compared to the other resorts in Majorca. It's surrounded by landscapes and countryside's where you will find large manor houses with defense towers dominate the horizon. This resorts is full of history and if you explore the area you should find a lot of information and history dating back many years.

Porto Colom is the birthplace of Christopher Columbus (like many other places claim to be). Porto Colom which is now a tourist destination was once a port for Felanitx. Porto Colom has a marina towards the south and is very popular with water sports. From the lighthouse you will have splendid views towards Porto Colom.
