Ibiza Attractions

Although Ibiza is know for it's very lively night life and clubbing scene, you will still find many different attractions in Ibiza for you to explore.

Hippy Market - is located in the town of Es Cana and in the grounds of club Punta Arabi. The market is held every Wednesday (May - October) from 10.00 - 19.00. The market has such a wide variety of clothes, leather and jewelry to choose from. This market is not to be missed.

Archaeology Museum - was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, the museum is sat right next door to the cathedral. On display in the Museum are exhibits that date back to the Phoenician-Punic, Roman, Arab and Medieval periods. Some of the objects that are found here are two Roman statues, these once guarded the entrance to the city at the main gate of the walls.

Salt Flats - is one of Ibiza's most famous landmarks. Located on the southern tip of the island, the salt fields have been in use for over 2000 years. As water evaporates during the very hot summer months, a layer of pure salt is left on the bottom of the lakes (hence the name Salt Lakes). This is also one of the best spots for sunset photos.

Night Clubs - it goes without saying that one of the biggest attractions in Ibiza is night clubs. You will find a large number of world class clubs within Ibiza and all open to very late. There is a few of these clubs to choose from but you will normally expect to find a queue to gain entrance (it can also cost to enter the clubs).

Monumento a los Corsarios - this monument is very unique as it honors pirates. At first reading this you may wonder why Ibiza would have this but the fact is the pirates actually defended the island from enemy attacks in the 18th century and onwards.
