Formentera Attractions
With Formentera being such a small Islands, the main tourist resorts on this Islands is the beaches. There are a few beaches within Formentera that allow people to bath with clothes and without. This is accepted in Formentera and most people who travel and stay here are very happy with this.
Like the other Islands, Formentera can offer attractions. Some of these will include sailing, water sports and diving. With no real large night clubs on the Islands, Formentera does offer a very good selection of Restaurants and some local bars.
Watchtowers - there are a total of five along the coast of Formentera. The first watchtower which was built, was on the island of Espalmador, then Punta Prima, La Gavina, Cap de Barbaria, and Es Pi d´es Català. These watchtowers were built to defend the Island against attacks from sea. From each watchtower it's possible to see another watchtower so if being attached they could signal to each other.
Salt Flats - like the other islands in the Balearics, Formentera has it's own salt flats.
